Who we are

Hi, I'm Nathan Sarmiento, owner of Rep*Tile Reflection.

I was born and raised in Carbondale, Colorado, and I've been fortunate to call the Roaring Fork Valley home my entire life. Growing up surrounded by the mountains, hardworking people, and a close-knit community taught me that your reputation is something you earn one job at a time.

Long before I ever owned a tile company, I was learning lessons that would shape the way I work today.

Those lessons came from my father.

My dad, Tony Sarmiento, began installing tile in 1990. Construction wasn't just his career. It was his craft. Every morning before sunrise, he was loading tools, preparing materials, and heading to another jobsite. As a kid, I didn't fully understand why he cared so much about details that most homeowners would never notice.

When I started working alongside him, he never handed me the easy jobs. I wasn't there to simply carry a company name. I had to earn every skill.

Over the last decade, I've continued learning that same philosophy on every project we've completed throughout Aspen, Woody Creek, Snowmass Village, Snowmass, Basalt, El Jebel, and Carbondale.

Working in these communities has given me the opportunity to install tile in everything from family homes and mountain cabins to luxury custom residences, remodels, restaurants, and commercial spaces. Every project is different, but the goal is always the same.

Whether we're installing tile floors that need to withstand years of daily traffic, designing a custom shower that becomes the centerpiece of a bathroom, creating a kitchen backsplash that ties an entire home together, or completing a detailed stone installation, every project starts with careful planning instead of rushing into installation.

Behind every successful business is a team, and I couldn't do this alone.

My wife, Katherine, has been an incredible part of our journey. While I'm focused on the craftsmanship in the field, she helps support the business behind the scenes, making sure our clients receive the professionalism and communication they deserve from beginning to end.
